2. Server log files

When you open this site, the web server automatically records:

• IP address
• date and time of the request
• the file requested
• bytes transferred and HTTP status code
• browser type, version and operating system
• referring URL

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure, reliable operation of the site and the prevention of abuse. These records are not merged with other sources, are not used for profiling, and are deleted once they are no longer needed for operations and security, at the latest after 30 days.

3. Cookies

This site sets no cookies at all, not even strictly necessary ones. There is no cross-site tracking.

4. Browser local storage

If you switch the colour theme or dismiss the privacy notice, that choice is stored in your browser's localStorage (theme, noticeAcknowledged). These values stay on your device, are never transmitted to us, and can be cleared at any time in your browser settings. Nothing is stored unless you interact.

5. Fonts

The Inter typeface is served directly from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other font service, and your IP address is not disclosed to a third party.

6. Server status display

The online/offline indicator and player count come from the mcsrvstat.us API. That request is made server-side only and cached. Your browser never contacts the service and your IP address is not passed to it.

7. YouTube trailer

The trailer is embedded as a still preview. Only when you press play is a connection made to youtube-nocookie.com (Google Ireland Limited) and the video loaded. Google then receives your IP address and device data.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, consent, given by actively clicking play. Without that click no data reaches Google. Google's policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

8. Discord

We link to our Discord server. The link itself transmits nothing. If you follow it, Discord Netherlands BV's privacy policy applies: discord.com/privacy.

9. Game data on the Minecraft server

The game server is a separate system from this website. When you connect, your Minecraft username, UUID, IP address, progress and chat history are processed as far as necessary to run the server, moderate it and prevent abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may request deletion of your player profile at any time via the email address above.

10. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal email to uhl.it.dev@gmail.com is enough.
