Java and Bedrock, one world
Geyser and Floodgate put both editions on the same map, the same economy and the same friend list. Bedrock is not an afterthought here: menus, chat and forms have dedicated Bedrock variants so nothing depends on Java-only controls.

Frequently asked
Can I play on Bedrock (mobile, console, Win10)?
Yes. Geyser and Floodgate put Java and Bedrock on the same world, with the same economy and the same friends. On Bedrock, add blacklight-network.de with port 19132. Menus and chat have dedicated Bedrock variants, nothing is locked behind Java-only controls.
Which Minecraft version do I need?
The server runs Paper 26.2. Connect with Minecraft 26.2. Bedrock players use the current version for their device.
Do I need mods or a resource pack?
No mods. The resource pack is offered when you join and renders the custom items properly, the mechanics work without it, it just looks plainer.
Does it cost anything? Is it pay-to-win?
The server is free and nothing purchasable grants a gameplay advantage. If a store arrives later it stays cosmetic-only, that is what the Minecraft usage guidelines require, and what we want anyway.
Is there a whitelist or an application?
No. Add the address, connect, play. No form, no waiting.
What language is spoken?
German is the main language in chat and on Discord, but everyone here reads English too, international players are welcome.
What makes this different from other SMPs?
The entire game layer is one self-written plugin: 1,009 Java files and roughly 360,000 lines of code, not a stack of bought plugins. Ores remember the biome they came from, gear is forged in real multiblock forges, NPCs build for you, and the economy has a measured money supply.
What is the best way to start?
Connect, follow the spawn, pick a profession with /jobs and go gather. Once you have some money, look into /forge. The wiki walks through every step.
